a bit about me:

I am a Research Fellow in the Sustainability Research Institute (SRI) at the University of Leeds.  My research is in the fields of Ecological Economics and Industrial Ecology; studying the technological, economic and social basis for a transition to a sustainable, low carbon economy.

My research projects have applied interdisciplinary approaches to study issues including supply risks in low carbon infrastructure development, business models for local infrastructure and the formulation of low carbon industrial strategies. I apply quantitative modelling techniques such as system dynamics and agent based modelling that are informed by qualitative research in my work. I also teach these techniques to students of economics and sustainability.
